The Friends of the Library hosted a West Virginia Humanities Council Program for their meeting on Wednesday, February 24 at 12 noon. Debra Conner of Parkersburg portrayed Rebecca Harding Davis, 19th-century author from Wheeling. Tjhis was a delightful entertaining program. Perhaps you will want to read some of the works by Rebecca Harding Davis.
The West Virginia Humanities Council is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing educational programs in the humanities for all West Virginians. For over thirty years the Council has been providing educational programs in the humanities across the state.
